| The DAS-6002 Hand-Held Scanner is a portable reader-programmer with full functional data collection capabilities. Updating the familiar DAS-5002 Notebook™ Reader, the physically smaller and lighter DAS-6002 retains the features of the original and adds new capabilities for today. Designed for use with BMDS RF transponders by simply changing the probe—the unit is compatible with both read-only IMI and read/write IPTT transponders. Used with all Series 6000 Smart Probe handheld scanners, (DAS-6006/7, SP-6004/5, and WRS-6006/7) the DAS-6002 Hand-Held Scanner offers the option of a built in barcode scanner for additional functionality. The DAS-6002 can program, edit and collect transponder data as a stand-alone device but offers a host of connectivity options. The unique shape of the unit provides space for a large two-line character display, the same high quality easy-to-read Vacuum Fluorescent Display featured in the DAS-6001 Console™ System. The distinctive silhouette facilitates connector space while creating a “wing” that houses both the bar code scanner, and a card slot that allows the use of ultra convenient memory cards for data collection and storage—a popular user option. |
