| The high performance low-cost DAS-6006/7 Smart Probe delivers big value on a budget. Using a direct connection for data transmission, the DAS-6006/7 retains the desirable reading and programming features of its wireless sibling, the WRS-6006/7. A simple power supply and communication device (PI – 6000) provides a 12-volt plug for power. Keep the power cable plugged in for continuous use or—with periodic recharging—use it as a portable device. In either case, the generous memory capacity allows you to store more than 1000 records internally. Your chosen transponder type, either Implantable Programmable Temperature Transponder™ (IPTT) or Implantable Micro Identification™ (IMI) determines which handheld Smart Probe to use; the DAS-6006 for the IMI, or the DAS-6007 for the IPTT. Providing excellent read distance and greatly enhanced battery life, the long slim shape of the advanced DAS-6006/7 handheld scanners helps isolate smaller animals for easy reading, and the extended reach you need for larger animals. |
