| DASHost™ communications software provides a simple method for transferring BMDS transponder data to your Windows OS computer. This menu driven application enables users to receive, control and route data from various sources such as transponders, scales, calipers, and other lab devices. DASHost™ will treat data from your reader-scanner just like data entered at a keyboard. Save the data to a file or insert it directly into widely used applications—such as Microsoft Excel™—or virtually any program you use. Beyond data transfer, DASHost™ serves a variety of important functions including, reading transponders, scanner configurations, communication port setups, mapping, programming, firmware upgrades, file transfers, and more. DASHost™ enables IMI transponder users to “map” an animal ID code to the factory-installed code on the microchip, relating the pre-set ID to the ID code you want to use. DASHost™ communications software enables IPTT transponder programming, and editing or locking data on the transponders. |
